This past Friday saw the release of Gunna’s second official studio LP WUNNA, which boasts 18 tracks and appearances from Young Thug, Lil Baby, Roddy Ricch, Travis Scott, and more. In addition to the release, the Atlanta star also dropped a video for the album cut “Nasty Girl/On Camera,” which is produced by Thank You Fizzle, Taurus, and Wheezy and is possibly the perfect song of the year for when strip clubs are finally able to reopen:
“Had to climb to the top with no ladder, got my millions, it don’t even matter, Turbo with me for life, it ain’t nothin’, you know Wheezy my brother like Tana/
She think she wanna f*** on the camera, she flew from Atlanta, she easy to handle, was piped when I met her, we swipe like the scammer/
Her kid with her nana, hot piss in the Pamper, I’m too geeked up, excuse my grammar, peel your top back, so smooth, bananas, we the topic, can’t change the channel…/”
If there’s anything to take from Gunna’s studio sessions for WUNNA, it’s the rock star lifestyle that was on display throughout. As can be seen on his accompanying documentary, Gunna, his collaborators, his production team, and more packed up and recorded out of a lavish residence in Jamaica — and the women were apparently very plentiful during their remote work stay. As with the music video released for the album’s title track, the accompanying clip for “Nasty Girl/On Camera” further showcases that via shots of eye candy in action, some of which seem filmed primarily for private and not public consumption.
Press play on “Nasty Girl/On Camera” below. In related news, Gunna can probably continue the celebrations, as WUNNA is expected to land on the Billboard 200 number one spot — which would be his first — with a projected 110,000 to 130,000 album equivalent units.
