Two months after the release of the chart-topping WUNNA, Gunna releases the deluxe edition of his sophomore album which sees an additional eight tracks for fans to enjoy. In addition, the Atlanta star also liberated a new visual for the WUNNA standout “DOLLAZ ON MY HEAD,” which features assistance from frequent collaborator and YSL head honcho Young Thug. The Mike WiLL Made-It and Myles Harris-produced cut sees the two collaborators mixing their street background with their current rich lifestyle:
“My bro on a steamin’ stove, cookin’ crack like grits, got this vibe on her tippy toes, strokin’ her in a pent’/
LA live, I’m stayin’ at the Loews with this Hollywood b***h, got a nine and a snubnose, can’t wait to let it hit/”
The visual comes courtesy of Spike Jordan and Maxime Quoilin, and begins with Gunna FaceTiming Young Thug in the middle of a game of golf — only to be interrupted by a family wishing to welcome the rapper into their neighborhood. Things then becoming progressively trippy from there, with each member of said family succumbing to different vices in various parts of Gunna’s residence. Young Thug can then be seen with a group of nuns, who switch from handling Thugger’s financial business to what looks like some kind of seance, adding a darker feel to the overall clip.
“DOLLAZ ON MY HEAD” follows previous videos from Gunna for “ROCKSTAR BIKERS & CHAINS,” “NASTY GIRL/ON CAMERA,” and the aforementioned album’s title track. He also released a documentary series alongside WUNNA that chronicled his and his team’s time in Jamaica during the album’s creation. Given the deluxe additions and new collabs with Thugger, Lil Uzi Vert, Future, and NAV, fans can safely assume that more videos are on the horizon.
