At the top of the year, Lil Keed revealed that fans can soon expect his next project Trapped On Cleveland 3, the latest installment of a series that was first introduced to us back in 2018. As fans await the project’s big reveal, the Atlanta star and Young Stoner Life signee delivers another new track titled “Fox 5,” which features fellow ATLien and labelmate Gunna and sees the two rappers talking about their wealth, rap fame, and street origins over production from Supah Mario:
“Free Homicide, it was just a homicide, yeah, in the daytime, yeah, seen a b***h rob ‘em, know we’ll kill him, thinkin’ he gon’ take mine/
Know I’m ballin’ on a b***h ass n***a, and I pass his ho like it’s Matt Ryan, yeah, you live longer if you mind your business, ‘cause I’ma mind mine/
I grab a carbine, lil’ boy, my b***h, she f***in’ on toys, bored, then jump off the porch, smokin’ opp pack in the Royce/
I’m with R5, R5, catch you at the red light, black out, yeah, we guaranteed to shoot his lights out…/”
The accompanying visual sees the collaborators mobbed up at different locations on or nearby Cleveland Avenue, for which the forthcoming release is named. Lil Keed’s brother, the equally talented Lil GotIt, can be seen among the many other participants in the clip. The video shoot is also known for being the sighting of an apparent drive-by shooting attempt — footage of the incident landed all over social media, eventually prompting a nonchalant response from Gunna:
Fans can check out the video for “Fox 5” below. “Fox 5” follows recent drops for “Wavy” and “No Dealings,” which have also been included for all who missed them. Hopefully, Trapped On Cleveland 3 will make landfall sooner than later.
