Last month, Young Nudy returned to the fold with his sophomore LP DR. EV4L, a 13-track body of work that sees additional appearances from Lil Uzi Vert, 21 Savage, and G Herbo. Following well-received videos for “2Face” and “Soul Keeper,” the Atlanta emcee drops off a new clip for the album’s title track, which sees production from Mahd McLaren and sees Nudy delving into street politics, taking care his family and crew, and more:
“Nigga want smoke, your nigga can’t get it back, we up four bodies, they not feelin’ that, and that pussy ‘bout me, I don’t talk about it, I don’t entertain, I get nigga whacked, mention my name, that how it go down, I get nigga splat, they know that they jacked, niggas sayin’ that they lookin’ for me, might not look hard enough, you know where I’m at…”
Courtesy of JMP and Dot Com Nirvan, the accompanying video for “DR. EV4L” shows Young Nudy in what looks like a funhouse-turned-house of horrors, with giant, demonic clown faces, a fortune teller machine, and — if you don’t blink — a jump-worthy Chucky sighting. Nudy also steps outside, riding through the streets in his high-end whip.
Prior to DR. EV4L, Nudy release his official debut album Anyways…, which boasted 16 cuts without any guest features. Prior to that, he teamed up with Pi’erre Bourne for the joint effort Sli’merre, which saw contributions from Savage, Megan Thee Stallion, DaBaby, and Lil Uzi Vert. Currently, he’s already preparing to release his next album Rich Shooter, which will see both Bourne and COUPE handling production duties.
