Fans have been asking for “Never” since its snippet was posted last month, and today, Young Nudy finally unleashed the official version of the track. Over the Coupe-produced beat, Nudy makes the premise of the song very clear, that he’s never going back to his old ways:

“Never goin’ back broke, nah, never. I ain’t never goin’ broke for no ho, never. Forever, I’ma be rich, n***a, forever, forever. You play with me, you dyin’, n***a, whatever, but never. You know it’s up with my gang, whatever. You know we got the guns on deck, nigga, for whoever. You think you gangster ‘round here, I’ma show you who special. Extra, I got money, money ain’t pressure.”

Most recently, Nudy appeared on 21 Savage‘s Billboard-topping Savage Mode 2 project. During the first quarter of 2020, Nudy dropped Anyways, where he proved again he could hold his own on the featureless 16-track mixtape. Since the project, he gave fans a visual for “All White” last month. A big win for him in 2019 was his feature on the track “Down Bad,” one of the lead singles off of the Revenge of the Dreamers IIIalbum. The track sees Nudy rapping alongside JID, Bas, J. Cole, Earthgang.

In an interview from earlier this year, Young Nudy explained how he transforms when he steps in the booth:

“What it look like is, if you ask me to freestyle right now, I can’t freestyle. But if I go in that booth right now, then it’s like some magical sh*t. It’s like my little superpower or something. As soon as I step in the booth, it just cut on. All of a sudden I can just rap out of the blue. For real, for real. I don’t even know where that sh*t be coming from. I just need to be in front of a mic. If that mic is in my face and I’m in a closed box, I just turn into a rapper. I don’t know. The mic is like my mighty morpher.”
