Back in October, Renni Rucci and Kevin Gates joined forces for their collab track “Hands On Ya Knees.” Renni just circled back around to release its official music video, filled with choreo and high energy to ensure the track will be blasting through speakers everywhere when clubs open back up. On the track, the duo go back and forth and feed off each other in the hook:
Fragrance on another levеl, lovin’ how you smellin’. Only other question, whеn is me and you gon’ get together? (What’s up?) Diamonds on reflector when I’m talkin’ ‘bout whatever (Talkin’ ‘bout) Never had your pussy pleasured by a mouth full of metal Turned the Fanta orange, in the beginning it was yellow. I hate to be alone, options open, I got several (Ah) Plain Jane Rollie, ain’t no diamonds in the bezel. No, we not movin’ on, I can leave you where I met you.
The track is produced by DJ Chose, who landed a major hit last year with “THICK” and its Megan Thee Stallion-assisted remix. Last year, Renni Rucci kept her supporters fed by dropping off QuickTape. Before that was 2019’s Big Renni, which included assist from names like B La B and Marlo. She also can be heard on Saucy Santana’s “Money” track, and dropped off her own singles “Bitch Do It” and “Solid Bitch.”
As fans wait the forthcoming release of Kevin Gates’ third studio album Khaza, which would act as his third drop since last year’s I’m Him, they are still able to enjoy some loose cuts such as “Dreka,” “Still Hold Up,” “Grandmotha Grave,” “Difficult,” “Weeks,” “Wonderland,” and “Amsterdam,” among others. Released in September 2019, Kevin Gates’ I’m Him project saw 17 tracks with no additional features. The project earned Gates a top five spot on the Billboard 200 thanks to 72,000 album equivalent units sold during its first week of release. That project has since earned the Baton Rouge star a Gold certification.
