As one of the hottest artists in hip hop right now, many are waiting for Fivio Foreign to liberate his long-awaited debut album, said to be titled B.I.B.L.E. (or Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth). This year has already seen high quality singles from the Brooklyn rhymer, including “Move Like A Boss” with Young M.A, “13 Going On 30,” and “Bop It” with Polo G. Today, he breaks out another dope cut titled “Trust,” which is produced by AXL Beats and keeps with the usual street theme of Fivio’s music:
“We seem ‘em, we on ‘em, they do what I told ‘еm, we crossed evеry T and we dot every I, and we watched every corner, look, we meet at home, said you gon’ know I’ma go when I call in the morning/
And n***as know I always come in the mornings, none of my n***as is mournin’, uh, one up, scorin’, shot good, Jordan…/”
Back in April, Fivio Foreign did gift his fans with an appetizer EP titled 800 BC, which saw eight tracks — including the remix to Fivio’s breakthough single “Big Drip” with Quavo and Lil Baby. He’s also spent the year adding his flair to other artist’s songs, including Drake’s “Demons,” Lil Tjay’s “Zoo York,” Nas’ “Spicy,” Tory Lanez’s “K Lo K,” French Montana’s “That’s A Fact (Remix),” King Von’s “I Am What I Am,” and a few with Pop Smoke.
This year also saw the drill emcee joining the likes of Mulatto, Jack Harlow, NLE Choppa, Lil Keed, and Rod Wave as the latest member of XXL’s Freshman class, further raising his profile in the increasingly congested world of rap. He spoke on receiving that honor with the magazine:
“I’m excited. I feel like I’m happy for the recognition. I appreciate the recognition and I appreciate the love. Thank God, viral. I hope next to have a No. 1 album.”
