At the end of this month (June 25), the ninth installment of the Fast & Furious franchise will make its way to the big screen. With an action packed movie like that comes an equally fire soundtrack, and Ty Dolla $ign, Jack Harlow, and 24k Goldn are the latest to team up to contribute to the action. On the track, Harlow gets the honors of setting the tone with his opening verse:
And I’m not gon’ stop winnin’ and I’m not gon’ stop spendin’/ Lifestyle, I’m locked in it, ten weeks, I’ve been top tennin’/ She need me like oxygеn, felt the same ‘til I got finishеd/ Big ring with them rocks in it
When I pop one I’m like Popeye when he got spinach, I’m clean cut with a pop image/ But it’s demons that I’m locked in with (Yeah)/
Back in March, Ty Dolla $ign blessed the masses with a remix of last year’s “By Yourself,” which sees Bryson Tiller joining Ty$, Jhené Aiko, and producer Mustard in their ode to single Black women. The original version of “By Yourself” can be found on Ty Dolla’s third studio album Featuring Ty Dolla $ign, a 25-track offering that features a wealth of contributions from Kid Cudi, Post Malone, Kanye West, Anderson .Paak, Thundercat, Quavo, Lil Durk, Nicki Minaj, Big Sean, Roddy Ricch, Kehlani, Future, Young Thug, Gunna, and loads more.
In Jack Harlow-related news, the Kentucky spitter just joined Tion Wayne and Russ Millions for “Body (Remix)” this week. Back in December, he released his official debut LP That’s What They All Say, which sees 15 tracks and additional appearances from EST Gee, Lil Baby, Big Sean, Adam Levine, Bryson Tiller, Lil Wayne, DaBaby, and more. The project was a success for the Louisville star, landing in the top five of the Billboard thanks to 51,000 album equivalent units sold during its first week of release.
