Jack Harlow is set to unleash his debut studio album That’s What They All Say t his Friday (Dec 11). To prepare fans for what’s about to come, Harlow linked up with Big Sean to gift listeners with his new single “Way Out.” The accompanying music video flips between the two rappers partying at a lavish lounge and in front of a merry-go-round as Jack delivers his signature infectious flow:
I got a Dallas and an H-Town boo, got a baddie out in Cape Town, too. Whole gang eatin’ steak house food. Get the check, I ain’t checkin’ what it came out to. I tell promoters, “I don’t talk about the money. You know who to hand the envelope to.” Big John got the cash and he been thе go-to. Heard the beat, told Nickiе, “Put it in the Pro Tools.” Got a fountain on the chain and it’s indigo blue. Might fuck around and get a gold tooth.
Jack Harlow dropped off his 2020 project Sweet Action earlier this year in March, which boasts his successful single “WHAT’S POPPIN.” The track eventually grabbed a star-studded remix with Lil Wayne, DaBaby, and Tory Lanez. In the vein of remixes, Jack Harlow jumped on Saweetie’s summer smash “Tap In” alongside Post Malone and Dababy. The other single from his upcoming album, the recently released “Tyler Herro” follows Harlow’s August drop “Automatic.” The latter track acted as his contribution to the Madden ‘21 soundtrack, as well as “Only Way Freestyle” and Scooby Doo-themed “Yikes.”
Earlier this year, REVOLT caught up with the rising star about how uncertain times brings the best art out of him, ensuring his debut album will be some of his best work yet:
“The darkest times sometimes produce the best art. I’m drawing inspiration from what the world’s going through right now. In 30 years, when they listen back, 2020 is going to be remembered like this,” Jack explains. “What’s going on right now, that’s how they’re going to remember 2020 and I like the art to reflect that. I’m not making as many party records because I’m not in as many parties. I’m letting the world guide my pen.”
