After surprising fans with Music to Be Murdered By: Side B back in December, Eminem doubles back today (May 28) with an official remix of “Killer” from the project. He taps in with two young stars Jack Harlow and Cordae for some assistance on the track, and as expected, both rise to the occasion to add their own flair to the veteran rapper’s track. On the song, Eminem sets the tone with his verse:
That’s what I do with money, got money up the ass/ Call it toilet paper, yeah, flush with cash/ Girl, nice butt, is it up for grabs? Just wanna touch your ass, is that too much to ask?
I made a grip, I know it’s tough to grasp, get the bag/ Call it potato chips, I stuff in duffel bags/ On some public transportation shit, ‘cause I will bus’ your ass/ Fuck the chain, I’m off the trailer hitch, I got a bunch of swag
“Killer” is produced by the popular hip-hop producer D.A. Got That Dope, who also produced some other tracks of the project, most notably “Godzilla”. The aforementioned Music to Be Murdered By: Side B is a deluxe edition of his eleventh studio album that altogether saw a whopping 36 tracks with a slew of assists from Skylar Grey, DJ Premier, Ty Dolla $ign, Dr. Dre, Young M.A, Ed Sheeran, Juice WRLD, Black Thought, Anderson .Paak, and former Slaughterhouse members Royce da 5’9”, Joell Ortiz, and KXNG Crooked, among others.
In Jack Harlow-related news, the Kentucky spitter just joined Tion Wayne and Russ Millions for “Body (Remix)” this week. Back in December, he released his official debut LP That’s What They All Say, which sees 15 tracks and additional appearances from EST Gee, Lil Baby, Big Sean, Adam Levine, Bryson Tiller, Lil Wayne, DaBaby, and more. The project was a success for the Louisville star, landing in the top five of the Billboard thanks to 51,000 album equivalent units sold during its first week of release.
