First, some big news for Yo Gotti fans — the Memphis veteran has recently announced that his Collective Music Group imprint has partnered with Interscope Records. Given the reception for more recent drops from EST Gee, 42 Dugg, and chart-topper Moneybagg Yo, it’s safe to say that CMG has plenty more hits to arrive by year’s end, beginning with some heat from the CEO himself.

Today, Yo Gotti unveils a new single titled “Drop,” which features an assist from DaBaby and, with the aid of beatsmith J. White Did It, is the perfect track for the strip club post-quarantine — both in production and subject matter:

“Okay, my bitch go to school, she a good girl, but she still shakin’ ass and titties, she gon’ act like it’s Magic City, as soon as she get out of class, I hit it, I be runnin’ from hoes, get ‘em off me, wait outside my hotel, bitches stalk me, if she think we gon’ chill, that bitch lost mе, really with that, for real, you just talkin’, gotta watch what you do with that ass…”

Last year, Yo Gotti released his tenth studio LP Untrapped, which also served as his fourth and final album under his deal with Epic Records, following the well-received drops I Am, The Art of Hustle, and I Still Am. Untrapped saw 15 tracks with additional features from A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Ty Dolla $ign, Lil Baby, Lil Uzi Vert, Megan Thee Stallion, Blac Youngsta, Rick Ross, and more. The project was also a moderate success for Gotti, becoming his fourth consecutive top-ten debut on the Billboard 200 chart. More recently, he joins Jeezy on his single “Back,” and kept his own fans fed with the loose singles “Recession Proof,” “Stay Ur Distance,” and “Wish List.”
