Currently, IDK is said to be gearing up for the release of his forthcoming album USEE4YOURSELF. He’s already blessed us with “2 Cents” and “Just Like Martin,” two presumed dope cuts from the project, and has teased other collaborations with the likes of Lil Yachty and fellow DMV star Brent Faiyaz. Today, he adds to the momentum with the T-Minus-produced “SHOOT MY SHOT,” which features Offset and is centered around the rappers’ respective rules of engagement in regards to women, single or otherwise:
“Twenty-four-seven, I’m a real one, I ain’t got no money problems, I ain’t got no children, dodgin’ baby mama drama, oop, that’s a close one, ass like a horse, but a face like she wholesome, Whole Foods shoppin’, and she work out every day, you know them nudes poppin’, stomach on apple cider vinegar, she do somethin’ to me, good sex, got you thinkin’ me and you somethin’, thought it was/”
USEE4YOURSELF will follow IDK’s 2019 debut LP Is He Real?, which saw 14 tracks with additional assists from DMX, Pusha T, JID, Tyler, the Creator, Burna Boy, GLC, Lil Kymchii, Jerm, and Kapri Styles. Last year, he liberated the second installment of his well-received IDK & FRIENDS compilation series — this time, it acted as an official soundtrack to the Kevin Durant-produced Basketball County: In The Water, a film that was centered around basketball talent in Prince George’s County, Maryland — where IDK was also raised. IDK & FRIENDS contained collaborations with the likes of Wale, Xanman, A$AP Ferg, Juicy J, PnB Rock, YungManny, and Rico Nasty over nine songs.
