This past weekend, Headie One unveiled the deluxe edition of his debut album EDNA, which added on eight songs and new collaborations with Rich The Kid, RV, NorthsideBenji, and more. One particular standout from EDNA (Deluxe) is “Siberia,” which sees production from TheElements and AoD and features a dope, hard-hitting verse from Burna Boy that sends a message to anyone or anything bringing negativity to his doorstep:

“I’m smokin’ gas like a cylinder, I grip the fifty, like Vivica, I got the packs and I send them down, ridin’ dirty like Chamillionaire, I’m just a greasy Nigerian, I just might fuck up your feelings, girl/

I make you sick like malaria, I do the rub on myself because, I do not fuck with no n***as, I do not fuck with no n***as, these n***as too fuckin’ snaky, makin’ me nervous, I’m bitin’ my fingers, mi I no like no drama, because I’m not Jerry Springer…/”

“Siberia” also comes with a KC Locke-directed visual that shows a well-dressed Headie One and his crew out in the snow-covered mountains — an obvious reference to the song’s title. Elsewhere, Burna Boy raps his part in a more tropical climate.

Originally released back in October, EDNA saw 20 tracks and a slew of assists from M Huncho, AJ Tracey, Stormzy, Drake, Future, Skepta, Mahalia, Aitch, Ivorian Doll, and more. The album earned Headie One a spot at the top of the UK Albums chart thanks to about 15,000 album equivalent units sold during its first week of release. 2020 also saw Headie One teaming up with producer Fred again.. for GANG, an eight-track body of work with contributions from FKA twigs, Jamie xx, and Sampha.
