Last week, TheHxliday dropped off the official first taste from his upcoming EP The Most Beautiful Disaster. He also tapped in with Polo G for the assist, and together they concocted “Wit Dat,” and now they’re ready to share the official video. In the Kevin Mares and Dogfood Media-directed visual, TheHxliday attacks the opening verse as an altercation begins to brew:
Alexander McQueen’s the way I’m stylin’ wit that shit (Ridin’ wit, yeah, yeah)/ Damn, shawty told me that she down wit that shit, yeah, it’s dangerous on the streets, I’m ridin’ with that shit (Uh)/
Ridin’ with that shit, uh, ridin’ with that shit, if he talkin’ shit, then I’m comin’ to his town to take his bitch/ I’m broken-hearted, so you know I’m lost and found in this bitch
On St. Patrick’s Day, TheHxliday shared the speaker-knocking “Opps,” which was the first single to follow his recent EP, Batbxy. Across the EP’s six tracks, which include singles like the moody “Thank U’’ and the carefree “Laugh A Little,” the young artist sings with an uplifting energy that belies the pain expressed in the lyrics. Most recently, TheHxliday released an emotional visual for the R&B-influenced banger “Nxbody,” and a romantic clip for his Gen Z love anthem “Batgirl.”
In terms of what Polo G has been up to, he just recently shared his video for “RAPSTAR,” which follows the drops “Epidemic,” “GNF (OKOKOK),” and “Headshot,” a joint single with Lil Tjay and Fivio Foreign and eventually landed on Tjay’s recent release Destined 2 Win. Last year, Polo G liberated his sophomore LP The GOAT, which saw 16 tracks and additional contributions from Mustard, Juice WRLD, Stunna 4 Vegas, NLE Choppa, Mike WiLL Made-It, Lil Baby, and BJ The Chicago Kid.
