Shordie Shordie and Murda Beatz continue to liberate dope visuals from their joint release Memory Lane. Their latest is for “Seattle,” which sees addition production from Yung Lan, James Maddocks, Tom French, and FritzOnDaTrack and keeps with the Shordie’s mixed themes of love and war:

“Got a nigga looking likе ‘Kill who?,’ ’fore I let you take my lifе, boy, I’ll kill you, dangerous when I come out, she like, ‘I feel you,’ talk before but now it’s always like ‘I hear you,’ but you don’t hear me, like nigga, we got guns too, you don’t fear me, let’s kick this shit like kung fu … I kinda think I want you, sight blurry like the rain on the way, say she really wanna move to Seattle/”

Shot by Catch Rec Media, the accompanying clip shows Shordie Shordie in the Emerald City, being affectionate with a special someone, hanging around in a fly residence with his crew, and posting up near a local shop. Unfortunately, Murda Beatz doesn’t make an appearance in the short video.

Last year, Shordie Shordie dropped off the well-received project >Music, which saw 13 infectious cuts from the Baltimore talent. Prior to that, he liberated 2018’s Captain Hook, which boasted the breakout single “Bitchuary.” In addition to his own releases, Shordie 2x could also be heard on tracks like AzChike’s “AYE AYE,” 03 Greedo and RONRONTHEPRODUCER’s “Baccstage,” and Mozzy’s “So Lonely.”

Meanwhile, Murda Beatz has continued to maintain his position as one of the biggest producers in music today. Currently, it looks like he’s prepping for an official follow-up to 2016’s Keep God First, having already unveiled top quality cuts like “Banana Split” with YNW Melly and Lil Durk and “DOORS UNLOCKED” with Ty Dolla $ign and Polo G. He’s also continued to craft hit records for the likes of Trippie Redd, Drake, and Ariana Grande.
