Kali Uchis has officially delivered her Sin Miedo (Del Amor Y Otros Demonios) album, which is her second LP and first Spanish-language project. She even got her feature artists to tap into their Spanish-speaking skills, as Rico Nasty is flowing on her guest verse on “Aquí Yo Mando” as usual but tops it off with some Spanish bars to match the occasion:

The ne w Sin Miedo project includes 13 new Spanglish tracks and features from PARTYNEXTDOOR, Rico Nasty, and of course Latin artists like Jowell y Randy and Jhay Cortez. In April, Kali released her EP titled To Feel Alive, to hold fans over until her official album. project included four new tracks from the DMV star, which production from Vegyn, Austen Jux-Chandler, Chahayed, and more.

In an interview from last month, Kali spoke about how her fans have been receptive to her singing in Spanish, and why she feels making the album in Spanglish felt the most representative of her true self:

“The album is all Spanish with a few bits here and there in English. That’s just my writing style. I grew up bilingual, speaking Spanglish in my house, so it would be inauthentic to sing completely in Spanish or in English because that’s not how I talk. At my concerts, when I do songs and covers in Spanish, I see people being receptive. They aren’t as closed-minded as they used to be.”
