As of today, Juicy J’s long-awaited album The Hustle Continues looks to still be making landfall this month. Today, the hip hop legend continues to hold his fans over with another turn up single from the project titled “Load It Up,” which features assistance from fellow Memphis rapper NLE Choppa and is as aggressive in sound and subject matter as you think it is:
“Juicy J the G.O.A.T., my joint long as a robe, lil’ mama roll it, lick it, light it, I want all the smoke, I don’t want relations, baby, I just wanna poke, know all them niggas money funny, I can take a joke/
What’s that in my cup? Hol’ up, what’s that in your chain? Boy your diamonds cloudy, it’s a heavy chance of rain, bro stay in your lane, we don’t ball the same, quarter million dollar watch, I left it plain jane/”
“Load It Up” follows other recent drops from Juicy J like the socially and politically charged “Hella F***in’ Trauma” and “Gah Damn High” with Wiz Khalifa. He’s also provided 2020 assists for THEY.’s “STCU,” Duke Deuce’s “Crunk Ain’t Dead (Remix),” and French Montana’s “50’s & 100’s.” Prior to that, Shutdafukup, was released in 2018 and saw 21 tracks with assists from YKOM, Lil Pump, Khalifa, Cardi B, Project Pat, and the late Lil Peep. His last official studio LP, Rubba Band Business, made landfall in 2017.
NLE Choppa is still riding high as one of the newest XXL freshmen alongside of Polo G, Jack Harlow, Fivio Foreign, Lil Keed, and more. This past August also saw the release of his debut LP Top Shotta, which landed within the top ten of the Billboard 200 and saw collaborations with Mulatto (another 2020 XXL freshman), Roddy Ricch, Chief Keef, and Lil Baby.
