Earlier this year, French Montana dropped off two heaters to get the year’s festivities going — “That’s A Fact” and the Tory Lanez-assisted “Cold.” Following the dance-inducing clip for the former, this week sees a new visual for the latter, featuring the two collaborators talking reckless over more laid-back production from ArmoTunez and Layzbeats:
“Keep it a stack, this b***h wavy, talkin’ to me like she pay the rent, this b***h crazy, slapped on my pimpin’, I’m usually like ‘b***h pay me’/
You can go get another, that ‘nother n***a ain’t me, out of Miami I’m getting jaded, p***y can’t get no wetter than this, there’s no debating/
Killing that p***y, I had to get it cremated, we’re celebrating in it like my n***a we made it, I know she faded, so I’m diggin’ deep all in that p***y/
Talkin’ deeper than any n***a she dated, and I got the 4 on the dash if I go on a stash, I cop a bag for my motha’ f***in’ baby/”
The visual comes courtesy of Eif Rivera, and shows the artists in what looks like the inside of an igloo palace, complete with women, drinks, and jewelry. If it weren’t for the Coronavirus pandemic, we’d probably be in the clubs making toasts to this track as we speak.
The new singles follow French’s third studio LP Montana, which was released back in December and boasted 20 tracks and appearances from Kodak Black, Drake, Gunna, Juicy J, A$AP Rocky, Chris Brown, Post Malone, Cardi B, and more. In the same year, he teamed up with longtime collaborator and currently incarcerated rapper Max B to liberate the mixtape Coke Wave 4.
