Earlier this month, Lil Keed released his latest project Trapped On Cleveland, which saw 19 new tracks from the Atlanta rapper and features from Gunna, Young Thug, Lil Baby, Travis Scott, Ty Dolla $ign, 42 Dugg, and Future. For his latest, Keed liberates his latest visual for “Tighten Up,” which sees him rapping about wealth and the streets over production from John Lam, Ferno, and Bloublood:
“Wide body, wide body swerves in the trenches, so many h*** havin’ me in they mentions, nah, I’m no cap, get you slimed like Grinch, .223 sit ‘em down like a bench/
Brick status, shawty, I stay with a b***h, stick active, yeah, who tryna get hit? Stick, baby whackin’ everythin’, b***h. YSL lifestyle, I can’t switch, ooh…/”
Keeping up with the creativity of previous videos, the Silver Spoon-directed clip sees Lil Keed as a used car salesman, with humorous scenes of the rapper handling business with various buyers. We can also see Keed enjoying his spoils after a successful day on the car lot.
“Tighten Up” follows equally dope visuals for “Obama Coupe,” “Fox 5,” and “Here.” The release also follows Lil Keed’s induction into this year’s XXL Freshman list alongside Polo G, Mulatto, Fivio Foreign, CHIKA, Lil Tjay, NLE Choppa, Jack Harlow, and more. Prior to these accolades, Keed also teamed up with Zaytoven, Lil Gotit, and Lil Yachty on the collaborative project A-Team in February.
In a recent interview with Complex, Lil Keed spoke on working with his brother Lil GotIt and their forthcoming project together:
“We’ve been working on it. We got songs from two, three years ago. We just aren’t going to put them on there. We’re going to go through them. We’re probably going to keep a couple of them out there, but we want to give them new music. The new us.“
