Today, Lil Durk released the deluxe version of his May drop Just Cause Y’all Waited 2, which sees seven additional tracks from the Chicago star. Added to the release, Durkio also dropped off a new visual for his latest single “3 Headed Goat,” which features fellow hip hop frontrunners Lil Baby and Polo G. The track sees production from Aviator Keyz and Cicero, and sees the collaborators giving game to the masses about the usual street subject matter:
“I cannot mention my homies inside of my song ‘cause I know they be trappin’ a lot, I can’t keep takin’ these pills, when I’m in the trenches, they say I be cappin’ a lot/
I know a n***a who say he got rich off the dope, but I know he be actin’ a lot, I know some n***as who said that they took down the city, but n***as be lackin’ a lot/
Yeah That s*** was awful, n***a had that dog food, that day they shot you, I slid on a Mongoose/
You cannot come back around me, you turned your back on me, I cannot forget, the police was lyin’, they say that they caught you, but n***a, they made you admit/”
The accompanying visual is directed by Lyrical Lemonade’s Cole Bennett, and is centered around the three artists handling large currency in an around a warehouse. Durk can also be see near a literal three-headed goat, a presumed reference to their current status in the upper echelons of hip hop. All three saw top five entries for their respective albums this year — Polo G and Lil Baby delivered their latest albums The Goat and My Turn in May and February, respectively.
