Nicki Minaj’s son, known to the world as “Papa Bear,” is capturing hearts after his appearance in the emcee’s newly-released content.

On Thursday (May 20), the Queens native hopped on social media and shared a link to some behind-the-scenes footage promoting “Seeing Green,” the single featuring her YMCMB labelmates, Lil Wayne and Drake.

The five-minute video features throwback photos of the three as well as a clip from Nicki’s Instagram Live session moments before the re-release of her Beam Me Up Scotty mixtape. Fans, however, were most fascinated by the footage of Papa Bear, who is not only seen rocking Burberry on a private jet but also in the hands of his father and Nicki’s husband, Kenneth Petty, in their family Christmas photo.

“Papa bear, the most perfect baby,” one Twitter user reacted. “Papa Bear has on a tux and my heart can’t take it. Nicki[‘s] family is beautiful,” added another person. The multitude of tweets eventually made “Papa Bear” a trending topic.

Since Nicki gave birth to her son on Sept. 30, the Barbz have been eager to get updates about him. In January, she unveiled the first few photos of her son in Fendi and Versace outfits alongside a heartfelt message in which she expressed gratitude for being his mom.

“#PapaBear thank you so very much for choosing me to be your mama,” she wrote in her Instagram caption. “Wishing you guys a happy & prosperous New Year. Thank you for your love & support throughout this journey. It’s meant so much to me. Becoming a mom is by far the most fulfilling job I’ve ever taken on. Sending love to all the superhero mothers out there. Big hugs to all the women who have been pregnant during this challenging time.”

More recently, she talked about her experiences with motherhood in an open letter to her fans.

“I’ve also been completely overwhelmed with joy & fulfillment in the world of Papa Bear,” she wrote. “Each day creates a new & fascinating, magical memory that I hide far away into a little cute compartment of my heart, vowing never to forget any of it.”
