Nicki Minaj has finally revealed her baby son to the world.
On Saturday (Jan. 2), the Young Money rapper took to social media to show off her newborn son to her fans around the world. Minaj, who gave birth to the child on Sept. 30, shared photos of the boy in a variety of Fendi and Versace outfits along with a brief clip of him. While fans are able to see her child, the first-time mom has yet to confirm her son’s name. For the time being, Minaj refers to her son as “Papa Bear” in her social media captions. she also thanks him for choosing her to be his mom.
“#PapaBear thank you so very much for choosing me to be your mama 🎀🦄🙏,” Nicki Minaj wrote in her Instagram caption. “Wishing you guys a happy & prosperous New Year. Thank you for your love & support throughout this journey. It’s meant so much to me. Becoming a mom is by far the most fulfilling job I’ve ever taken on. Sending love to all the superhero mothers out there. Big hugs to all the women who have been pregnant during this challenging time.”
The long-awaited reveal comes a few days after Minaj celebrated her 3-month-old son’s life. Earlier this week (Dec. 30), the Queens, N.Y. native posted numerous, colorful photos of herself while pregnant with her son.
“Happy 3 months Bday Papa Bear,” Nicki captioned the throwback shot. “Mommy & Daddy love you soooo much. You’re the best boy in the whole wide [world].”
Even while the pandemic rages on, Nicki Minaj has managed to juggle her newfound motherhood and her career. She recently appeared on the remix to Sada Baby’s “Whole Lotta Choppas, in which she plans a playdate with Drake’s son Adonis. After her child’s birth, Minaj also confirmed that she’s preparing to release a new docuseries on HBO Max.
