City Girls is setting the record straight about one of their recent performances.

Last week, the Miami rappers successfully kicked off the REVOLT Summit, but after a viral video of the end of their performance made its way around the internet, many people began to think otherwise.

The video captured Yung Miami as she made some final shoutouts before putting down her mic and walking off the stage. Since JT appeared to smile and interact with the crowd, fans thought the exit from the “Rap Freaks” star was an abrupt departure, prompting her to break her silence and defend herself.

In response to a follower who advised her to stay on stage for paying fans, she replied, “Girl the show was over! Wtf you wanted me to stand there and smile? Fuck you!”

In another exchange with a Twitter user, a fan told Yung Miami that it was “hard to sympathize” with her, and she responded, “I never asked you to sympathize with me weirdo!”

JT, whose exit from the stage appeared to be delayed, later took to Twitter to confirm that the show had ended while refuting rumors that claimed she was “confused” by Yung Miami’s departure.

“I wasn’t confused that Caresha walked off I knew the show was over I was confused on how to end the show being that it was a very short show,” tweeted JT.

“[And] we both walked to separate ends of the stage to say bye to everybody my side was just further from the exit. & before y’all ask why I’m just saying something it’s because usually she ignores situations & I didn’t want to bring attention to it.”

JT and Yung Miami were two of many celebrities who came out to share their talents and/or advice with attendees of this year’s REVOLT Summit. Offset, Young Thug, Killer Mike and Chance The Rapper were also at the event.
