Megan Thee Stallion took to Instagram to commemorate the one-year anniversary of Fever. In her post, the Houston Hottie listed all of her amazing accomplishments that have taken place since the EP dropped.
“Wow. I can’t even fit 2019 into 10 slides, but ima work with what I got just to show how 1 year can change your whole life!” she wrote. “I met so many amazing hotties and damn near drove the boat with all of y’all.”
She continued, “We got our first magazine cover, we won a bunch of awards, I had my first beach clean up, I put on my first cognac pageant for girls who like to party, but are still about their grades, went on my first tour, started hot girl summer, got a few plaques, got my first collab with an amazing woman and at the end of the year met Beyoncé, all while still pursuing my degree and so much more other shit that I know we did!”
The “Captain Hook” rapper ended the lengthy message by thanking her fans and telling them that she will continue to go hard for them.
“Thank you thank you thank you hotties for always riding with me and for me!” she said. “I always tell y’all I’ma keep getting better and putting on for y’all #fever1yearanniversary.”
Fever peaked at No. 10 on the Billboard 200 and featured appearances from DaBaby and Juicy J. The lead single “Cash Shit” peaked at No. 36 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and became Megan’s first platinum track.
Most recently, Megan released the highly successful “Savage (Remix)” featuring Beyoncé. The song hit No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and all proceeds for the track went to benefit Bread of Life’s COVID-19 relief efforts.
