Now the independent record label broke their silence in an Instagram post, thanking fans for their support during this difficult time. The label promised that the Bay Area star left behind hundreds of unreleased songs that will be shared soon. The label shared a teaser clip of the music video for Yase’s song “Top Dog,” and asked fans to share it and tag the San Francisco, California music outlet Thizzler so they can drop the full version following the rapper’s death.

The Thizzler was among the first to report on the rapper’s death on Saturday, with a post shared on social media. “We’re hearing that San Francisco rapper @yasemoney600 passed away this morning,” the caption read. “We’re sick about the news and send prayers & positive energy to his family. Fellow rappers and musicians took to social media to pay tribute to the up and coming star. Thousands of fans also expressed their sadness regarding the loss by sharing heartfelt messages about the rapper.
