21 Savage is looking out for some of King Von’s family members after he was fatally shot outside an Atlanta hookah spot on Nov. 6.
Kayla B., Von’s sister, took to Instagram to show her followers the new Range Rover the Savage Mode II emcee purchased for her. She posted photos of herself standing in front of the white vehicle while holding 21 red roses. “2021 PAID FA WITH 21 ROSES!” she captioned the post. “NOBODY EVA BOUGHT ME ROSES! I LOVE MY BIG BROTHER @21savage. #REALNIGGAFRRRRR 4L.”
She also said that her brother had planned to buy her a new car before his untimely passing.
“Von was about to sneak & buy me a car before he passed and look my brother still made sure I got it,” she wrote on her Instagram story.
Von was fatally shot after getting into a physical altercation with Quando Rondo and his crew outside of Atlanta’s Monaco Hookah Lounge. A day after the shooting, authorities arrested 22-year-old Timothy Leeks and charged him with murder.
A few days after the shooting, Kayla took to Instagram to call out a mortuary worker after graphic photos of Von’s body were leaked online. “THIS THE SICK MFER THAT POSTED MY BROTHER PICTURES!!!” she wrote. “HE WORK[S] AT THE AIPORT MORTUARY. HIS WHOLE JOB KNOW[S] HE DID THE SHIT, BUT THEY TR[Y]NA PROTECT HIM!!! WE NEED HIM FIRED NOW!!!!”
On Wednesday (Nov. 18), Von’s family and team released a statement thanking his fans for keeping his legacy alive. “To celebrate Von’s artistry, vision, and the immense love that he had for his fans, we will be containing his roll out of Welcome to O’Block, while working to share unreleased music and interviews that he devoted his creativity into completing,” the statement read. “Von had also been working on new endeavors that we will be announcing down the line.”
