When you think about it, Wiz Khalifa has managed to remain one of the most consistent artists this year thus far. New Year’s Day saw him liberate the mixtape #FUCC2020, followed by the Taylor Gang compilation Taylor Nights and a deluxe edition of his third studio album, Rolling Papers, in celebration of its tenth year in existence. In addition, Wiz has remained rather prolific as a well-rounded featured artist, contributing to songs like 03 Greedo’s “Substance (We Woke Up),” Problem’s “4 The Low,” Steve Aoki’s “Used To Be,” Papoose’s “Is It Worth It,” and DJ Pharris’ “Everything New,” among others.
This past weekend, Wiz and his Taylor Gang compadres Deji and Feezy decided to liberate a laid-back cut titled “Oh Wow,” which sees the collaborators rapping about their rockstar lifestyles and the ladies that become a part of it:
“Ain’t really know how to dress before, but now I’m upgradin’ her style, can tell she ain’t been around real ones before by the way that she runnin’ her mouth, can tell that she know what she doin’, I see by the way that she bussin’ it down, run circles around these lil’ niggas, they winnin’, she never could say I’m a clown…”
Directed by Taj Stansberry and Wiz himself, the accompanying clip for “Oh Wow” is mainly centered around a wild pool party being thrown by the Pittsburgh veteran and his crew, complete with a bevy of beauties throughout. Elsewhere, Feezy woos a woman in his Rolls Royce while Wiz plays fashion designer with eye candy of his own.
