We’re only a couple of months into 2021 and Wiz Khalifa has already delivered a year’s worth of music. In addition to his #FUCC2020 mixtape, the Taylor Gang captain has released in-studio videos for “Ain’t Shit Free” with Young Deji and “Chicken With The Cheese” with 24hrs and Chevy Woods — he can also be heard on new singles by Tyla Yaweh and 03 Greedo.
This week, the Pittsburgh star drops off another high-quality loosie titled “Dreams,” his latest collaboration with 24hrs that sees the two rapping and harmonizing about all of the creature comforts that accompany wealth and fame:
“Okay, got ‘em upset, half a hundred M’s, that’s in one check, if you ain’t talking money, switch the subject, if you ain’t talking money, switch the subject, only rep the gang, that’s one set/
Knew she was a hoe, she just ain’t done it yet, if you ain’t talking money, switch the subject, yeah, convertible Vette, got my name in the headrest, put my feet up, smoking a J, let my legs rest/”
As with “Ain’t Shit Free” and “Chicken With The Cheese,” the Max Jag-shot visual for the track shows the artists kicking it in the studio, smoking chronic, eating takeout, and sipping on Wiz’s own liquor brand Mcqueen And The Violet Fog.
Last year was a fairly busy one for Wiz as well, having released the well-received mixtapes It’s Only Weed Bro and Big Pimpin, among others. He also celebrated 4/20 with the EP The Saga of Wiz Khalifa, a project that eventually saw a deluxe upgrade and features a slew of additional contributions from Rubi Rose, Mustard, Quavo, Logic, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Megan Thee Stallion, Ty Dolla $ign, and more. As with the past 30 days, Wiz also provided verses for the likes of E-40, Travis Barker, Curren$y, and Shoreline Mafia.
