On Sept. 3, Icewear Vezzo will officially unveil his next project Rich Off Pints 2. He has been steadily dropping off visuals from the previous installment, including “Venting” and his “Tear The Club Up” collab video with Future. Vezzo now reveals the latest single from the forthcoming body of work, and he made sure to tap in with Lil Baby for the assist. On the freshly released “Know What I’m Doing” track, Baby sets the tone by taking the first verse:
New car, new chain, new watch, new spot/ N***a hang, new opp, new guap, get shot, cold water, make it hot/ I stay by the government house, I done found another route/ Like that she don’t run her mouth, passive but she still let me slut her out/
Back in May, Icewear Vezzo dropped off his new Rich Off Pints project. In addition to his own releases, this year has seen Vezzo increasing his profile feature-wise, appearing on songs like Snap Dogg’s “Step On,” “Tear The Club Up” with Future, Young Crazy’s “Shell Jumping,” Lil Ty’s “Pill God Drink God,” Pacman Da Gunman’s “Did That,” and Mellow Rackz’s “Right Now.” Vezzo also joined forces with Lil Durk for Vezzo’s “Up The Sco” single, which dropped at the start of April. Additionally this year, we’ve heard him on singles like “6Print,” “Cheat Code” with KrispyLife Kidd, and Courtney Bell’s “Deebo.”
Lil Baby was on top of the world last year, kicking off his streak of success with the release of his project My Turn. Including its deluxe upgrade, that project saw 27 tracks with additional features from Gunna, 42 Dugg, Future, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Wayne, Moneybagg Yo, Young Thug, and Rylo Rodriguez. In addition to spawned high-charting singles like “We Paid,” “The Bigger Picture,” “Woah,” and “Sum 2 Prove,” My Turn also earned Lil Baby his first number-one album on the Billboard 200 thanks to 197,000 album equivalent units sold during its first week of release.
