Last month, Lil Gotit blessed his fans with his latest album Top Chef Gotit, which saw 15 tracks and a slew of high-profile appearances from executive producer Gunna, Young Thug, NAV, blood brother Lil Keed, and more. Following top quality visuals for “Wok,” “Toosie,” “Burnt N Turnt,” “Get N Dere Gang,” and “Playa Chanel,” the Atlanta star drops off a new one from the project for “Options,” a Money Musik-produced effort that sees Gotit rapping about his free-wheeling lifestyle:
“I’m havin’ options, yeah, they clearly some opposites, they watch through the scope in the moshpits, yeah, just upgrade the optics, bitch, I’m the coldest, don’t act like you know this, I been tried to tell you I told ya, shut up, bitch, I’m flossin’, me and my boys been rollin’, yeah, I try, finesse like Thugger, yeah, gon’ get it done, she don’t wanna do the back door, so I’m comin’ through the front door…”
That very lifestyle can be seen in high quality thanks to the Wolf-directed clip, which shows Gotit performing the track while in different locations — his residence, while riding through the streets, and in a packed nightclub.
Top Chef Gotit follows last year’s Hood Baby 2, the sequel to his 2018 debut Hood Baby that — like its successor — boasted “usual suspect” collaborations with the likes of Gunna, Keed, Lil Yachty, Guap Tarantino, Future, and Uno Freaky. In addition, 2020 also saw two other projects from Gotit — Superstar Creature, which was entirely produced by London On Da Track and featured assists from Slimelife Shawty, Polo G, and Young Nudy, and A-Team, a Zaytoven-led joint effort with Keed and Yachty. Given his level of work ethic, it wouldn’t be surprising at all to see plenty more albums from Gotit before 2022 arrives.
