Signs of a new Fredo Bang album become more pronounced every day. Earlier this month, he teamed up with Polo G for his latest single “Bless His Soul.” Today (July 30), Fredo Bang follows that up with the Hardbody B-Eazy and DJ Chose-produced “Street Team,” which sees the Louisiana star delivering some of his hardest-hitting bars to date:
“Riding ‘round with Glocks, we got mops, get your street cleaned, fuck an album, I be pushing bodies, this a street team, I just heard his song, he screaming, ‘Slatt, slatt, slatt, slatt,’ when I catch him, I’ma lay that blatt, blatt, blatt, blatt, you can run like Gump but you can’t hide, heard he dissed me in that song but he ain’t slide, I just heard his song, he screaming, ‘slatt, slatt, slatt, slatt,’ when I catch him, I’ma lay that blatt, blatt, blatt, blatt…”
The track is also accompanied by a visual courtesy of Jolo, and it’s as to the point as a clip can get — Fredo Bang and his homies can be seen hanging out and dancing along to the infectious track in a corner shop, presumably somewhere in Baton Rouge.
Back in 2020, Fredo Bang liberated his official debut album Most Hated, which saw him alongside the likes of Lil Baby, YNW Melly, Moneybagg Yo, and Tee Grizzley. mere months later, fans got another full-length masterpiece titled In The Name of Gee — not content on stopping, Fredo would later add on a deluxe edition titled In The Name Of Gee (Still Most Hated), essentially another album’s worth of bangers that altogether saw contributions from Kevin Gates, Latto, Lil Durk, Sada Baby, Rylo Rodriguez, late artist Da Real Gee Money, and more.
