Back in 2020, Fredo Bang blessed the masses with his official debut album Most Hated, a 12-track body of work that saw additional appearances from Lil Baby, YNW Melly, Moneybagg Yo, CeeFineAss, and Tee Grizzley. Since then, the Baton Rouge star has kept his momentum going with two equally dope drops — In The Name of Gee, which made landfall in the same year, and In The Name Of Gee (Still Most Hated), a deluxe version of In The Name of Gee and — judging from it’s full name — an overall continuation of his aforementioned releases.
Today, Fredo Bang reaches back to Most Hated to deliver a remix of the standout track “Trust Issues,” which now features NLE Choppa and sees the collaborators rapping about, well, exactly what the title insinuates:
“Is you ridin’ or not? ‘Cause I don’t know what’s up with you, lot of love, gotta have the same if I’m gon’ fuck with you, you too raw, you know I’m raw, that’s why I bust with you, life good, but a nigga still got some trust issues, if I gave you the world, I hope that I can split a cut with you, if I gave you the world, I hope that I can get in touch with you, might probably switch your side, that’s a shame, I grew up with you, life perfect, but I still got some trust issues…”
Shot by go-to videographer Jolo, the DJ Chose and Hardbody B-Eazy-produced offering sees the artists at what looks like cathedral grounds, where they perform in front of a stone Jesus while a beautiful woman walks throughout the building’s halls. Essentially, the clip keeps things fairly simple, leaving most of the attention on the music.
