Currently, rising Memphis star BIG30 is said to be putting the finishing touches on his forthcoming project King of Killibranch — earlier this month, he gave fans a taste of what to expect with the Yo Gotti-assisted single “Too Official.” Today (July 16), he unveils another dope cut titled “Mista,” which sees him delivering bars filled with street politics over production from TP 808s:
“Don’t do no cappin’, we get active, opp knows how that thirty sound, pussy told me fuck my nigga to my face, I couldn’t believe it, nigga know ion play one to the face, he must thought I was Jeezy, big nigga with pointers on, hit ya’ block in a bent like Peezy, and I’m really gon’ step on some, go ask lil’ one, breathing ain’t easy…”
Shot by Wikid Films, the accompanying clip for “Mista” keeps with previous drops, showing BIG30 in his natural element — his Hill Branch, Memphis stomping grounds. The whole neighborhood comes out to support their hometown hero as he performs the track from a Corvette, what looks like a warehouse, and other locations throughout.
Day one fans know that BIG30 has quickly become a rapper’s rapper of sorts, having already contributed to top quality tracks like Bankroll Freddie’s “When I Shoot,” Icewear Vezzo’s “Kitchen,” Gucci Mane’s “Shit Crazy,” Only The Family’s “Took Down,” Moneybagg Yo’s “GO!,” and several by frequent collaborator Pooh Shiesty — most recently the Shiesty Season standout “Neighbors.” Taking to Instagram, BIG30 has continued to show heavy support for a currently incarcerated Shiesty, who has unfortunately found himself in the midst of some serious legal issues:
“Free My Brudda I Miss You We Gone Stunt So Hard In A Lil Minute Stay Tuned…”
Press play on BIG30’s “Mista” — hopefully, King of Killibranch will be making landfall soon.
