Today, Tyler, The Creator dropped off his seventh LP CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST, a 16-track tour de force that sees uncredited appearances from 42 Dugg, Ty Dolla Sign, YoungBoy Never Broke Again, Lil Wayne, Domo Genesis, Brent Faiyaz, DJ Drama (who essentially turns the album into a Gangsta Grillz mixtape), and more. Following dope videos for “LUMBERJACK” and “WUSYANAME” comes a dope new clip for “JUGGERNAUT,” which features Lil Uzi Vert and Pharrell Williams and sees Tyler boasting about his clothing line, various expensive toys, and wealthy lifestyle overall:
“What it is? It’s that nigga T, skin look colored in, ridin’ in double-double R, that’s that Cullinan, pullin’ in that four hundred gram, I just bought a disc, Switzerland, Lake Geneva where I spend my summer in, Golf le Fleur, that’s Gianno shoe, what I’m runnin’ in, earlobe look like headlights on a new van, I’m so motherfuckin’ dead-ass, I need some Timberlands, I battle any man, Uzi Vert, don’t think they understand…”
The video begins with Tyler walking through a lemon field, before things change to the Odd Future alum performing his track on top of a monster truck-fitted Rolls Royce Cullinan — all while other Tyler pulls the massive truck via rope from the ground. The video ends with Tyler falling from the sky before the album title abruptly appears — unfortunately, neither Uzi nor Pharrell make an appearance.
CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST follows 2019’s IGOR, a more experimental, genre-bending effort that contained 12 cuts and contributions from Playboi Carti, Uzi, Solange, Kanye West, and comedian Jerrod Carmichael. IGOR became Tyler’s first number one album on the Billboard 200, thanks to 165,000 album equivalent units sold during its first week of release. That body of work has also since earned a Gold certification.
