Tyler, The Creator has without a doubt became a fan favorite over the years. Circling back to his arrival to the music industry back in 2009 with the release of his debut mixtape Bastard, the world knew he’d be something special — it was only a matter of time. His creativity and the way he floats over beats for sure separated him from everyone else and he’s been in his own lane ever since. When you think of the name Tyler, The Creator, one of the first things that may come to mind is “unicorn,” simply because he’s a rare breed when it comes to this music thing. Today, the west coast artist drops off his sixth studio album Call Me If You Get Lost and it is exactly how you thought it would be — fire emojis!

Call Me If You Get Lost serves as the follow up LP to Tyler’s Grammy award-winning concept album Igor (released in 2019), which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 200 and featured eight songs that charted on the Hot 100. Known to have some of the best album rollouts in the industry, Tyler teased fans last week by putting up billboards around the world in L.A., London, Paris, Berlin, Stockholm, Amsterdam, Sydney, Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver that referenced the album title and led fans to a phone number. When they called the phone number, they would hear previews of what to expect from the album.

The cover art appears to be paying homage to the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s 1995 album Return to the 36 Chambers: The Dirty Version, which is a photo of a food stamps card with ODB’s face, name, date of birth and album title on it. On Tyler’s cover, the ID card is a license to travel with all the similar features to ODB’s cover, but it instead includes an alias “Tyler Baudelaire.”
