A short time ago, a video clip shows Boosie Badazz hitting a man during a video shoot made its rounds on social media, leading many to wonder how it would fit into the final product, among other things — it seemed as if Instagram subsequently had him banned from their platform as a result. This past weekend, said visual finally arrived for “Period,” which features DaBaby and sees the rappers sending a message to anyone that feels that their names can be trifled with:
“They call me Boosie, I go stupid, keep a K ‘cause it’s serious, if I know you or don’t know you, you ain’t gon’ play with me, period, I make you walk it out, walk it out, walk it out, yeah, ‘bout what I’m talkin’ ‘bout, big mouth shot caller, two Rottweilers like Nino, runnin’ up bundles of cash, she trying to fuck on the rag, please tell your pussy-ass baby daddy, “Be cool”, girl, before I get on his ass…/”
Directed by Motion Family, the accompanying clip for the 14SHOOTERS-produced cut begins with the aforementioned scene before revealing the location as Charlotte’s Paco Super Market. The rest of the clip shows Boosie and DaBaby in said store’s parking lot, showing off high-end cars and chatting it up with the crowd of locals gathered around them. Billion Dollar Baby artist Stunna 4 Vegas makes an appearance as well.
Last year saw plenty of music for Boosie fans to enjoy, including Goat Talk 2, In House, and Badazz MO3
Boosie’s joint effort with slain rapper MO3. It was also during the Baton Rouge star’s trip to Dallas to pay tribute to his fallen collaborator that he was shot in the leg. Fortunately, the “Period” video makes it appear as if Boosie did make a full recovery.
