Doja Cat has risen to fame not only for her musical capabilities, but also for her visually stunning videos as well. Her latest offering, the SZA-assisted single “Kiss Me More” was no exception. The video has already racked up over 13 million views since its release and features Doja and SZA venturing off into their own pink planet as Doja delivers her hook:
Boy, you write your name, I can do the same, Ooh, I love the taste, oh-la-la-la-la-la/ All on my tongue, I want it, I feel like fuckin’ somethin’/ But we could bе corny, fuck it, Sugar, I ain’t no dummy, dummy
I like to say, “What if?”, but if we could kiss and just cut the rubbish/ Thеn I might be onto somethin’ I ain’t givin’ you one in public/ I’m givin’ you hundreds, fuck it. Somethin’ we just gotta get into
Back in 2019, Doja Cat liberated her Hot Pink project, a 12-track body of work that saw additional appearances from Smino, Gucci Mane, and Tyga. To say the Hot Pink project kept its momentum going since its release would be a severe understatement. In addition to her latest visual “Streets,” which is the official track for the viral Silhouette Challenge, Hot Pink has also spawned other dope cuts like “Juicy,” “Like That,” and the Billboard Hot 100 chart-topper “Say So,” the last of which subsequently saw an updated assist from Nicki Minaj. After riding the success from that project into 2021, currently Doja is said to be working on an official follow-up titled Planet Her.
In terms of SZA-related news, the songstress is also gearing up for her forthcoming project as well. So far she has dropped off singles like “Good Days” and the Ty Dolla $ign-assisted “Hit Different” and also shared stunning music videos for both.
