K Koke, a rapper that’s arguably of the biggest road rap pioneers in the game, has officially returned to the fold with his new album I Ain’t Perfect, a 13-track body of work that sees additional contributions from Bounty Killer, Ambush Bussworl, Leng, Krash Corn, and more. One particular track, the JRocs-produced “Originals,” connects the North West London emcee with equally legendary peers Jaja Soze, Mike GLC, and SAS.

In addition to I Ain’t Perfect, K Koke has also recently dropped off visuals for standout cuts like “We Da Ops” and “6 & 10,” the latter of which is a collaboration alongside C Biz, RD, and Justo — making for the kind of hard-hitting subject matter that fans should happily expect:

“It’s gang gang all the way bro, bang bang and we change clothes, mandem got the flamethrowers, got drill shifts, we do changeovers, big spit the shit ain’t over, spill drink like I ain’t sober, big dog like Beethoven, and it gets beat like Zaytoven, stepped out of the Range Rover, it’s game over…”

I Ain’t Perfect follows K Koke’s 2018 EP FFF PRISON, which saw collaborations alongside Big French, Angel, Maverick Sabre, and Dappy. A year prior, he would liberate the fourth installment of the classic Pure Koke mixtape series, a 21-track body of work with assists from the likes of Stefflon Don, Pressa, Maino, Joe Black, and Loick Essien, among others.

What’s probably the most interesting is the fact that this isn’t the first body of work (or song) that K Koke released with that title. Back in 2013, the former Roc Nation signee blessed his fans with a different I Ain’t Perfect that boasted big collaborations like “Lay Down Your Weapons” with Rita Ora, “My Time” with Bridget Kelly, “Turn Back” with Sabre, and “Roc For Life” with Wale.
