Earlier this month, Giggs surprised the world with his second commercial mixtape Now or Never, which boasts 16 tracks and additional appearances from Emeli Sandé, Dave, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Obongjayar, and more. This week, the South London star unveils a new video from the release for “Im Workin,” which features Jorja Smith and sees the two speaking on fame, its evils, and subsequent loneliness over soulful production from Elevated and Jonah:

“I’m not tryna prove myself again, I’ve shown both my hands, and nothing left in, I’ve been runnin’ miles tryna please them, instead I’m doin’ miles in this new whip, people want to say that I’ve been lackin’, talk your shit online, but not in person/

The only time I hide behind a curtain, is when I’m on the stage because I’m workin’, I’ll be damned if I do and I’ll be damned if I care, or even try and care, too…/”

Directed by Otis Dominique, the simple-yet-very effective visual shows Giggs pulling up to his residence in a Range Rover, walking in to get settled as Smith simultaneously departs in her own SUV. As the songstress arrives to a restaurant to dine with friends, Giggs can be seen in his home alone in the dark, adding an additional layer of isolation to the top quality offering.

Now or Never follows Giggs’ fifth studio album BIG BAD…, his second offering under his partnership with Island Records (including the mixtape Wamp 2 Dem). BIG BAD… saw 18 tracks and assists from French Montana, Jadakiss, Ghetts, Labrinth, Lil Yachty, Swizz Beatz, and Wretch 32, among others. The project also earned Giggs his third top ten on the UK Albums chart, debuting at number six during its first week of release.
