When the clock strikes midnight (Nov. 19), fans will be able to press play on Snoop Dogg’s nineteenth studio LP Algorithm, which will see the Long Beach legend sharing his platform with a wealth of his peers and eventual successors, including Method Man, Redman, Usher, Fabolous, Dave East, Ty Dolla $ign, Wiz Khalifa, D Smoke, and more. The project was led by the well-received singles “Murder Music,” (Jane Handcock’s) “Like My Weed,” and “Big Subwoofer,” the last of which saw Snoop joining E-40, Too $hort, and Ice Cube as the mega-group Mount Westmore.

Premiering exclusively on REVOLT, Snoop has decided to bless the masses with a new video for “Go To War,” a collaboration alongside rising Cali crooner Blxst that sees the artists putting their hearts on their sleeves for those whose feelings aren’t 100 percent mutual:

“You know I go to war for you, girl I been a hundred and shown I’m loyal too, I guess I still get more to prove, heartbreak, mistake, I’m torn in two, if it’s fake love, then ain’t no forcin’ you, don’t expect nothin’ less or more from you, I guess I still got more to prove, heartbreak mistake, I’m torn in two … I used to give it and get nothing in return, so, nowadays I’m cautious, who I trust and who I learn from…”

Directed by Shante Broadus’ Boss Lady Entertainment, the accompanying clip for “Go To War” sees Snoop and Blxst as the main characters of a 70’s blaxploitation film akin to classics like The Mack and Shaft

the duo take out the presumed bad guys, play craps with beautiful women, and more. Elsewhere, said movie is being played at a drive-in theater where Blxst can be seen expressing his emotions to his love interest.
