Back in July, EST Gee dropped off his latest body of work Bigger Than Life Or Death, a 15-track offering that saw additional features from 42 Dugg, Lil Baby, Rylo Rodriguez, Future, Young Thug, Lil Durk, Yo Gotti, and Pooh Sheisty. This week, the Louisville star decided to liberate a new visual from said project for “Make It Even,” a FOREVEROLLING and NFE Paris-produced effort that sees him rapping about the kind of dark subject matter that’s reminiscent of The Notorious B.I.G.’s classic cut “What’s Beef?”:

“Yeah, my mama always told me, ‘Baby, seeing is believing,’ he slid on people, wasn’t ‘bout beef, and niggas ain’t no demons, you know to keep your moves quiet, dyin’ if I see him, the reason niggas know to up that yeeky, ain’t no speakin’, the reason niggas grievin’, tryna clique up, make it even, the reason niggas need help breathin’, doctor, stop the bleedin’, the reason niggas’ people pay for peace, but ain’t no treaty, the reason niggas grievin’, tryna clique up, make it even…”

Directed by Diesel Films and edited by Jay Kastle, the accompanying clip for “Make It Even” both takes place in a church and seems inspired by occult themes, including a scene where EST Gee is seen floating over a star made of money. Donning a red cross on his forehead, Gee is also shown rocking glowing red eyes, spilling his heart in a confessional booth, and more.

“Make It Even” follows a slew of visuals from Bigger Than Life Or Death for standout cuts like “Lick Back,” “Capitol 1,” “Price Tag,” “Riata Dada,” “5500 Degrees,” “In Town,” and the title track. Outside of his own work, EST Gee has also kept busy as a hot commodity in his own right, contributing show-stealing verses on songs like Jack Harlow’s “Route 66,” Lil Baby’s “Real As It Gets,” G-Eazy’s “At Will,” 42 Dugg’s “Rose Gold,” and Tory Lanez’s “Tuh.”
