Unfortunately, one of Eminem’s strongest tracks from his latest album Music to Be Murdered By is also a bittersweet one — the track features hook duties from Juice WRLD, who tragically passed on last December. Today, Eminem revealed a new visual for said cut, which sees direction from the extremely talented Cole Bennett of Lyrical Lemonade and features a heartfelt tribute to Juice WRLD at the end.
As far as the rest of the video, it’s definitely one of the zaniest from the Detroit emcee to date. Eminem can be seen getting drunk and throwing up legos, shooting rocket launchers, taking a chainsaw to a slaughterhouse and getting knocked out by Mike Tyson. The clip also sees brief-yet-memorable cameos from Dr. Dre and D12 alum Denaun Porter.
The song is also noted as being the latest Eminem song to break a world record for having the fastest rap verse — Em manages to get off a whopping 224 words in just over 30 seconds:
“Fill ‘em with the venom and eliminate ‘em/
Other words, I Minute Maid ‘em/
I don’t wanna hurt ‘em, but I did, I’m in a fit of rage/
I’m murderin’ again, nobody will evade I’m fittin’ to kill ‘em and dumpin’ their fuckin’ bodies in the lake/
Obliterating everything, incinerate a renegade/
I’m here to make anybody who want it with the pen afraid/
But don’t nobody want it, but they’re gonna get it anyway…/”
The song’s break-neck speed also spawned a “Godzilla” challenge, which saw others attempt to rap the song’s third verse successfully. It only further proves just how superhuman Marshall Mathers is when it comes to his abilities on a microphone.
