Sada Baby has been one of the most consistent rappers this year. The beginning of the year saw the mixtape Brolik and the project Skuba Sada 2, the sequel to 2017’s Skuba Sada that came with 9 tracks and a single feature from Trap Manny. Skuba Sada 2 also saw a deluxe version with a couple of extra cuts, including a collaboration with King Von. Mere months later, Sada Baby released another body of work titled Bartier Bounty 2, the successor of last year’s Bartier Bounty that boasted 18 tracks and assists from Lil Yachty, G Herbo, DeJ Loaf, and Skilla Baby.
In addition to the aforementioned projects, the Detroit star also delivered a new single titled “Whole Lotta Choppas,” a quick moving party cut that sees production from CoalCash Blac and samples Tag Team’s classic 90’s cut “Whoomp! (There It Is)” — which, as the subject matter reveals, is the only thing that Sada Baby’s single has in common with the more lighthearted release:
“Ooh, lil’ b***h wan’ ride it, told the b***h don’t get out her body, hmm, get right beside me, I’ma get in that thang, get to slidin’, this b***h makin’ me feel erotic, huh, she gotta get on this rocket/
I don’t give a f*** ‘bout her milage, and her grandmom related to the Winans, ooh, that’s the s*** that I like, you a church girl, b***h, you like Christ, hmm, you ain’t never had pipe, least not this kind, I’ma f*** you all night…/”
Now, “Whole Lotta Choppas” gets an even bigger remix courtesy of Nicki Minaj, who delivers bars reminiscent of her 2014 single “Anaconda.” Fans can definitely expect this number to get plenty of spins on the dance floor and in the strip club — given that your location isn’t still under heavy quarantine.
