Last month, Gucci Mane delivered the compilation So Icy Boyz, which (in addition to his own contributions) features new music from BiC Fizzle, Hotboy Wes, Big Scarr, Foogiano, Pooh Shiesty, Lil Baby, and more. Earlier this week, BigWalkDog liberated a new visual for his So Icy Boyz standout cut “Trap Life, which features Bankroll Freddie and sees the two getting to the bag over production from PabloMCR, Menace Beatz, and Clemsy Beats:
“If I throw this money, she gon’ throw it back, I got like 400 racks off in these Gucci shoulder straps, these A.P.s came from wifey, you can’t get it, gotta order that, if you play with me, we slang them bullets like a quarterback, this pendent told them water that, and honest, throw like 40 stacks, two fifths’ll get that 40 back, she throw it slow, she shake it fast…”
The accompanying clip for “Trap Life” comes courtesy of Respect The Shooter and sees BigWalkDog, Bankroll Freddie, and their respective crews flexing an envoy of high end vehicles in different locations throughout.
While he’s yet to drop a project of his own, BigWalkDog has been building his momentum since partnering with Gucci — in addition to “Trap Life,” fans can also find him on the So Icy Boyz tracks “Poppin,” “So Icy,” “Whole Lotta Ice,” “Trap God,” “Rolling Loud,” and “Woah.” Priot to that, the Tutwiler, Mississippi-bred talent appeared on Gucci Mane’s Ice Daddy single “Poppin.”
Meanwhile, Bankroll Freddie liberated his latest body of work, Big Bank, back in April. The Quality Control/Motown Records-backed project contained 14 tracks with additional features from Megan Thee Stallion, EST Gee, 2 Chainz, Young Scooter, PnB Rock, Young Dolph, BIG30, and — of course — the omnipresent Gucci Mane, who assisted on the closer “Rinky Dinky.”
