Today, Bankroll Freddie unveiled his latest project Big Bank, which sees 14 tracks with additional assists from EST Gee, 2 Chainz, Gucci Mane, PnB Rock, Young Dolph, and more. Accompanying the album is new visual for “Pop It,” which features Megan Thee Stallion and sees the artists rapping about subject matter perfect for the strip club:
“I know he hatin’, I got that bitch watchin’, she on my drip, ayy, she like how I pop it, he can’t afford neither one of these watches, she wanna fuck and she heard that I’m toxic, I wanna fuck with lil’ mama, she thick, booty so big, ooh, look at them hips, like how she shake it, might give her a tip/”
The video is just as energetic as the track, with the collaborators flexing money, jewelry, and cars in a room full of exotic dancers. It’s definitely a proper introduction for any who aren’t familiar with the Quality Control star.
Prior to Big Bank, Freddie released the well-received projects Saved By The Bales and From Trap To Rap in 2019 and 2020, respectively. In addition to loose cuts like the aptly-titled “Quarantine Flow,” last year also saw the Helena, Arkansas talent contributing to tracks like Crenshaw Biggie’s “Ran It Up,” Studieo’s “Bag a Lil Different,” Abzo’lute’s “Dirty,” Ed Dolo’s “Hot,” TrapBoy100’s “Out The Trap,” and Gucci Jay’s “Rank.”
Meanwhile, Megan The Stallion has enjoyed a year at the forefront of music as a whole, beginning with the top 10 EP Suga, which spawned hit singles like “B.I.T.C.H.,” “Captain Hook,” and “Savage” — the last of which topped the Billboard Hot 100 thanks to a remix alongside Beyoncé. Her debut album, Good News, was released November and peaked at number one on the Billboard 200, thanks to over 100,000 album equivalent units sold during its first week of release.
