Some months ago, Fredo Bang blessed the masses with his latest project Murder Made Me, which saw 16 tracks with additional features from Polo G, Coi Leray, BIG30, and Mozzy — the project was led by the well-received singles “War Time,” “Bless His Soul,” “Street Team,” and “Gates Flow (Dangerous).” Last week, the Baton Rouge star returned with a new song titled “Many Men,” a Wonder Boy Beats, Hardbody B-Eazy, and Callari-produced offering that sees an assist from fellow Louisiana rapper JayDaYoungan. Given their respective backgrounds, it probably took little effort for the artists to provide the hard-hitting lyrics and subject matter that they’re both well-known for:
“I’ll put it through a nigga chest and tell em vest up, I keep this bitch up on my side, that’s for my dick up, a nigga see me, they know it’s murder, but have they stick up, you tryna get that shit in blood, you better not pick us…”
The video for the 50 Cent-inspired cut comes courtesy of Fredo’s frequent director Jolo. The clip is pretty simple and to the point, and looks as if the collaborators met up with their crews outside of a hotel — add in Jolo’s flare for special effects and you have a rewind-worthy product for fans to enjoy.
Unfortunately, “Many Men” arrives in the midst of Fredo Bang’s current battles with law enforcement, which began with a warrant-based arrest in Miami on a parole violation. Said apprehension followed another arrest of Fredo’s associate Lit Yoshi, who at the time was on bond and was wanted in Louisiana for a reported attempted murder charge.
Press play on Fredo Bang and JayDaYoungan’s “Many Men” video below. Hopefully, Fredo will be able to both release more music and make it to the end of his legal issues soon.
