Last year, Flo Milli and Buddy took part in a dope cypher for that year’s BET Hip Hop Awards. Today (Oct. 29), the duo reunite in a video for Flo Milli’s latest single “Ice Baby,” a Brett On The Beat, Ice Pic Brad, and Beats By Slade-produced effort that sees the Mobile, Alabama talent flexing on haters as hard as humanly possible:
“Hop in the car and I race, I see the stars in the Wraith, talkin’ my shit in your face, I might just spit in your face, blood on my shoes ‘cause it bled, on the runway, it be red, you can’t keep me out your head, ho, keep my name out of your thread, kick it with hoes, I don’t pick if you broke, the reason I’m different, I do what you don’t, you do what you can and I do what I want, the second that I get turned off then it’s on…”
The visual for “Ice Baby” borrows from the classic “Flavor of Love” dating show — viewers can even seen a cameo appearance from Deelishis, who helps to recreate one of the show’s iconic scenes. Following Buddy’s decision to choose the VH1 contestant, Flo Milli steps off to perform the hard-hitting track.
Last year, Flo Milli dropped off her debut mixtape Ho, Why Is You Here?, which came with 12 hard-hitting cuts and production assistance from J. White Did It, Versatile, Yung Tago, Ethereal, Yung Glizzy, and more. More recently, the rising star joined the likes of Pooh Shiesty, 42 Dugg, Morray, DDG, Lakeyah, Blxst, and Coi Leray as one of the newest XXL Freshman, further boosting her profile and raising hoping that an official follow-up lied somewhere on the horizon.
