A couple of months ago, Lil Gotit unveiled his fourth studio LP Top Chef Gotit, which saw 15 tracks with features from Young Thug, Lil Keed, Yak Gotti, NAV, Millie Go Lightly, and more. This past week (August 26), the Atlanta star dropped off a new visual from said project for “Work Out,” which features Gunna and showcases production from DMC Global and EVRGRN. The track sees the artists mixing between their lavish lifestyles and street reputations:
“They steady tryna work out, gym, neck, water, swim, New York, steppin’ in Timbs, Draco take off limbs, in heaven, they whippin’ up yams, big truck drivin’, RAM, AR slide, scram, Zaza, rollin’ grams, no breakin’ code in no jam, kick her out the spot like Pam, StickBaby got shot, he gon’ blow though, don’t book me no show for none little, they’d lock me up, yeah, if I kill him, Top Chef Gotit, I grill him, they’d give me life sentence if I drill him…”
The visual for “Work Out” comes courtesy of Never Panic and begins with Gotit in a throwback limo with his crew. Gunna can be seen with some eye candy and dirtbikes before Gotit breaks out the monster trucks for the clip’s climax.
Prior to Top Chef Gotit, Gunna could be heard on the Thugger-led compilation Slime Language 2, which originally contained a healthy 23 cuts with contributions from Travis Scott, Drake, Rowdy Rebel, Lil Baby, Lil Uzi Vert, Coi Leray, Big Sean, Skepta, Meek Mill, (Gotit’s brother) Lil Keed, and the rest of the Young Stoner Life family. A deluxe edition of the chart-topping release later surfaced with eight additional songs. More recently, Gunna teamed up with Taurus for his latest single “9 TIMES OUTTA 10” — hopefully, this means a follow-up to WUNNA isn’t too far in the distance.
