Babyface Ray continues to make his claim as one of the hottest artists from Detroit this year. Back in February, he delivered his latest project Unfuckwitable, a seven-track EP with features from EST Gee, Kash Doll, and Moneybagg Yo. Not finished with that campaign, he then upgraded Unfuckwitable with a deluxe edition, adding on another seven cuts with additional collabs alongside Veeze, Peezy, Murda Beatz, and Jack Harlow — the last of whom turned up with Babyface Ray on “Paperwork Party.” Since then, fans have received a couple of loose drops — last month’s “What The Business Is” and “Hate Me” with YS and Fenix Flexin.

Today (August 27), Babyface Ray links with fellow Motor City star Big Sean and white-hot producer Hit-Boy for “Ain’t My Fault,” a Ryu and Ken-style display of hard-hitting lyrics about success, haters, and more:

“It ain’t my fault I got that glow and I can’t get it off me, it ain’t my fault these niggas ain’t solid and they movin’ faulty, it ain’t my fault I’m rockin’ Ricky, keep that blicky on me, it ain’t my fault when I pop out, not unless the fifty on me, it ain’t my fault that they got shifty on me, Tony Hawk, I’m used to niggas gettin’ tricky on me…”

In related news, this fall will see Babyface Ray and rising Charlotte talent Mavi joining Jack Harlow on “The Créme De La Créme” tour, which starts in Orlando, FL September 9 before touching down in a wealth of U.S. major cities — for those attending the Detroit show, it might be a safe bet to expect one of Babyface Ray’s best sets ever. The entire run ends November 19 in Indianapolis.
