Three years ago, Juice WRLD liberated his debut studio LP Goodbye & Good Riddance, which was initially a 15-track body of work that contained viral singles like “All Girls Are The Same,” “Lean Wit Me,” and “Lucid Dreams.” Some time later, a new version of the album would materialize with a rearranged tracklist and newer cuts titled “Armed and Dangerous” and “Wasted” with Lil Uzi Vert. In addition to peaking at the number four spot on the Billboard 200, the album has since earned Juice WRLD a Platinum certification.
Today, the world gets another Goodbye & Good Riddance upgrade in the form of an Anniversary Edition, which sees unreleased cuts like “734” and “Lucid Dreams (Remix),” a reunion with Lil Uzi sticks with the emotional, broken relationship theme:
“Crying, I’m nauseous, I hear that so often, I sometimes get lost in my head, I’m so in love with that girl, I got the juice in this world, she don’t believe in loyalty, but want diamonds and pearls, fuck that, I had to man up, tried to boost my confidence and froze my hand up, I’m still hot, turn that fan on, this shit had me depressed, I almost died off Xan’ punch…”
The remix also comes with an otherworldly visual courtesy of Mooch, which shows animated versions of Juice WRLD and Lil Uzi Vert fighting off literal demons throughout.
Last summer, fans got to check out Juice WRLD’s posthumous release Legends Never Die, a 22-track offering that saw additional assists from The Weeknd, Trippie Redd, Marshmello, Polo G, The Kid Laroi, and Halsey. The bittersweet offering was a commercial success, earning the late rapper his second number one album on the Billboard 200, as well as several number ones in other countries around the globe.
Press play on both Goodbye & Good Riddance (Anniversary Edition) and the aforementioned visual for “Lucid Dreams (Remix).”
